Daiwa Exceler Casting – Versatility and power for predator fishing
The Exceler Casting series by DAÏWA is a great classic in the world of rods dedicated to predator fishing. With each new generation, Daiwa integrates its latest technologies in order to offer rods that are more efficient, more precise and better adapted to modern techniques for lures.
This series covers a wide range of fishing situations, with particular attention paid to pike fishing, in particular with the appearance of models specifically designed for the use of large lures and long-distance casts.
A complete range for all techniques
The Exceler Casting series includes 15 models, making it possible to adapt to many predator fishing techniques.
It includes 5 single-strand rods dedicated to black-bass technical fisheries, offering high precision and excellent responsiveness.
The different powers allow several uses to be covered:
Action MH: very versatile for techniques like spinnerbait or swimming fish
Action H: ideal for fishing in crowded areas (jig in the woods, frog on seagrass beds)
Action XH: designed for the use of large lures like swimbaits or big shads
The range also includes a powerful model dedicated to big baits, capable of propelling lures up to 80–180 g.
HVF carbon blank and X-45 technology
Exceler rods benefit from a HVF (High Volume Fiber) carbon blank reinforced with X-45 technology.
This design offers:
lightness
reduction of the blank’s torsion
better accuracy of casting
increased reactivity
It also improves the transmission of sensations during the animation of the lure and the fight with the fish.
Fuji K rings optimized for braiding
The ring ramp uses FUJI K Concept O, renowned for their anti-tangle design.

perfect compatibility with braids
a significant reduction in wigs and line loops
Exclusive Daiwa reel holder
The series is equipped with an exclusive ergonomic Daiwa reel holder, developed by the brand’s engineering department.

Comfort and ergonomics
The rods have an EVA handle providing comfort and grip during long sessions.
